Workshops & Reflective Experiences
Arcsmith designs accessible arts-based workshops that help teams slow down, reflect, connect, and engage with one another in new ways. Our experiences combine creative practice, facilitated dialogue, and reflective inquiry in formats designed for organizations, leadership teams, nonprofits, universities, and collaborative groups.
Arcsmith workshops can take place within your organization’s existing spaces or in curated retreat, studio, and community environments depending on the goals and scale of the experience. We provide the materials, facilitation, and creative structure so participants can focus on reflection, collaboration, and meaningful engagement — no artistic experience required.
Our Philosophy
Creativity changes how people think
We believe that creative practice can open new ways of thinking, listening, and relating to one another. Arts-based activities invite reflection, curiosity, and experimentation in ways that traditional meetings and conversations often cannot. Through facilitated creative processes, collaborative inquiry, and reflective conversation, Arcsmith helps individuals and teams navigate complexity, explore ideas, strengthen leadership, and discover new possibilities together.
Creative Modalities

Mosaic & Collaborative Making
Hands-on projects using tile and texture encourage reflection, perspective-taking, and collaborative problem-solving. Teams not only engage creatively but also explore communication patterns and group dynamics that can inform leadership and workflow strategies.
Watercolor & Reflective Practice
Low-pressure creative exercises support mindfulness, conversation, and perspective-taking. Participants reflect on their own and team processes, generating insights that can be applied to decision-making, collaboration, and leadership growth.
Decoupage & Story Objects
Creating personalized objects through layered imagery invites storytelling and meaning-making. Teams practice narrative thinking and reflective dialogue, uncovering insights about individual and collective goals, roles, and collaboration.
Creative Mapping & Journaling
Visual exercises help teams explore ideas, transitions, and organizational narratives. Participants document discoveries and reflections that can be used for coaching follow-ups, strategy discussions, or action planning.
Arcsmith engagements are customized to the goals, size, and structure of each organization. Workshops may range from single-session experiences to multi-part series paired with reflective coaching and facilitated follow-up conversations.
Workshops are generally 2-3 hours; One-on-one coaching sessions are 1 hour each for 6-10 sessions. Contact us to see what's right for your organization.

CONNECT
We begin by creating space for reflection, curiosity, and shared attention. Through thoughtful prompts and creative activities, clients and participants are invited to slow down, listen differently, and engage openly.
Experiment, reflect, and discover new possibilities. Through creative prompts, thoughtful dialogue, and collaborative inquiry, participants are encouraged to question assumptions, consider new perspectives, and imagine different paths forward.
As patterns and insights emerge, clients and participants build new connections to ideas, to one another, and to more intentional ways of working, collaborating, and leading together.
